This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 18, 2007:
Values...
Independence. That also goes hand in hand with Individuality. I feel like being true to yourself is the most important thing. You can't please everyone, so please yourself about your choices, behaviour, appearance, and journey. I certainly know I can't spiritually please my family and myself. So I focus on myself there. My hair is for me, my dad hates it. (My mom is more supportive.)
Creativity, it's an important facet of my life. I dunno, its just a part of my personality and I love to be around other creative people more than someone who doesn't do anything creative. People who never create new ideas, crafts, art, poetry, or ANYTHING really bore me.
And with that last statement, Honesty. Honesty about feelings and opinions and not censoring them. (Sure I believe in not breaking the law but sometimes I greatly disagree with those laws and so lawfullness vs unlawfullness does not fall into my Honesty category. I would defend those that steal because of hunger but not those who steal because of boredome, know what I mean? My point of view on this is just different from some people.)
Autonomy. Your life and your actions and your beliefs are yours and yours only and do not require answering to some cloudy government or social order when you're not doing anything to hurt anyone.

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.
